19 May Harold Comes to Town
The much beloved Harold the giraffe came to visit our Intermediate this week.
The Intermediates always make the most of the time they are released temporarily from the classrooms into the quad for exercise, with enthusiastic participation at each station. They have also enjoyed the Life Education visit from Harold the Giraffe. My standard joke to Year 7s is asking how Harold the Giraffe fits in the truck, and do they let him outside at night so he can stand up properly. One student told me rather earnestly that he is not a real giraffe!
The accompanying teacher Jo came to see me to pass on how delightful our students had been, including some making Harold fan posters, as well as a group of older students who popped in for a visit with Harold.
