We’ve won an architecture award

12 Jun We’ve won an architecture award

Te Manawa Atawhai Catherine McAuley Centre has WON the public architecture category at the Canterbury Architecture Awards, part of the NZ Architecture Awards programme.

The building was officially opened in December 2017 and is a lasting tribute to Catherine McAuley, who founded the Sisters of Mercy – who in turn, founded Villa Maria College.

The Sisters of Mercy should be congratulated, along with Architect Hamish Shaw, for creating such a spectacular piece of architecture.
