The Uniform Shop is run by the Shop Manager, Ms Ruth Eadie, and is situated upstairs from the Student Office.
The Shop Manager may be reached by phone on 348 4165 ext 855 during shop hours or by email firstname.lastname@example.org. Email is preferable to phone calls as it can be very busy during shop hours.
When girls return to their usual learning at the College, please rest assured that they are allowed to wear either summer or winter uniform initially. This is because the Uniform Shop was only part way through winter uniform fittings for new students, so some may not have any winter uniform as yet.
Uniform fittings by appointment will resume when the College reopens and Mrs Ruth Eadie will inform parents of new students when this happens.

Caring for your Villa Maria College Uniform
Please do not soak the garment. A Sard (or similar) soap should be used regularly to spot clean the white collar (do not use bleach or spray-on products). The garment can be washed on a cool, gentle machine cycle with a mild detergent. Drip dry inside out in the shade (do not tumble dry). A warm iron may be used to press the dress, but should not really be necessary.
Please note the blazers are dry clean only.
We stock replacement buttons in the Uniform Shop at $2 each. Please use a strong yarn to replace them as the metal seems to cut through normal cotton very quickly.
These are made from a wool mix fabric. Please check the care label inside your skirt. They can be washed on a gentle cycle in the washing machine.
These are a wool mix garment and can be machine washed on a delicate/wool cycle.
Please check the care label on the garment.
Please try to keep the cuffs and collar clean by regularly scrubbing with Sard soap or similar. They can be machine washed – preferably with light coloured garments.
Please take the time to ensure all items of uniform are named.
Taking a bit of extra care with your daughter’s uniform will pay off when it comes to selling outgrown garments through our shop. The College takes a 15% commission on successful sales and these funds are used to support student learning through the Student Assistance Fund. There is information on the school website for selling uniform items.
Opening hours during term are Mondays 12.30 – 5pm and Thursdays 12.30 – 4pm.
If you have any problems or concerns with uniform, please feel free to contact me.
