Senior Subjects
Academic Record
Villa Maria College aims to bring out the best in all students and they are encouraged to apply themselves and develop an appreciation for life-long learning. Our girls are known for their integrity, self-assurance and compassion. Villa Maria College offers a broad choice of subjects at both the senior and junior level despite small class numbers at the senior level. The smaller class numbers are a significant advantage to students and to staff who enjoy close working relationships with their students. Learning support is available at all levels of the College.
Senior Subjects
Senior students study towards the New Zealand qualification, NCEA (the National Certificate of Achievement) at levels one, two and three and also National Certificates at levels one and two. Year 11 students are also encouraged to enter the annual ICAS Exams.
