Villa Maria College students have taken top honours at the 2016 International Brain Bee Challenge, held at Otago University.
The Challenge includes Year 11 students competing to determine who is the “best brain” on such topics as intelligence, memory, emotions, sensations, movement, stress, aging, sleep, addiction, Alzheimer’s and stroke. The Challenge was founded by a Scientist in the USA and now competitions take place worldwide culminating in an International Brain Bee Championship
Villa students: Angeline Sang Yum, Zoe Muir, Zoe O’Sullivan, Hannah Warner won the Team Challenge beating 75 other Year 11 pupils from South Island secondary schools to secure their title.
